Hi! This is the new me since January 2017. Everything I have done until now you can see in my portfolio or you can make a request for a full CV. My new place in the web is a reflex of my thoughts and abilities within live performance after 20 years of experience. I love any kind of Live Performance and most of all the poetics involved. 'Poetics' derives from the Greek word 'poièsis' and means 'active making':  “The poetics of any medium studies the finished work as the result of a process of construction - a process which includes a craft component” (Bordwell, 1989, p. 371). Therefore, my research is being the study of the strategies and resources that a lighting designer uses to achieve her(is) intentions. The main goal will be evaluating those results with practice experiences towards some of the questions that fills me with restlessness: Can light be the catalyst of a live performance? Why most of the times light design doesn't 'co-evolve' in the creation of a live performance from the very beginning?Despite having light as the central focus of my graduation, work and research, my creativity's response could rise from any of interest listed above. My web site's menu is like a palette of colours one can use to make a painting. Of course, some of them are brand new and I don't know quite well the effect one could achieve. But that's the point! Once I know what I am doing, then I am not doing my job!(someone said recently)Historical records about LoÏe Fuller and the use of light has been an inspiration for me.
